R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Reanna Santos of Angleton was crowned Miss Rodeo
  Texas on June 20, 2025, at the Miss Rodeo Texas Pageant coronation
  in Denton; and
         WHEREAS, For more than five decades, Miss Rodeo Texas has
  served as a goodwill ambassador for the official sport of the Lone
  Star State, working closely with professional rodeo associations
  and community organizations to preserve Western heritage;
  Ms. Santos qualified for the annual competition after being
  selected Miss Rodeo North Texas Fair; during the statewide contest,
  she garnered top honors in the congeniality, test, speech,
  personality, appearance, and horsemanship categories; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Rudy and Rosalie Santos, Ms. Santos
  attended Angleton High School and Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic
  School; she went on to graduate cum laude from Texas A&M University
  with a bachelor's degree in agricultural business and a master's
  degree in rangeland, wildlife, and fisheries management, and she
  plans to pursue a career as an environmental consultant, helping
  ranchers achieve sustainability; a former equestrian
  student-athlete, she has been actively involved in such
  organizations as the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers
  Association, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the American
  Quarter Horse Association, and the 12th Man Foundation Collegiate
  Council, among others; and
         WHEREAS, Reanna Santos has proven herself to be a deserving
  recipient of the Miss Rodeo Texas crown, and the hard work,
  determination, and perseverance that she has demonstrated in
  attaining this goal are certain to serve her well in her future
  endeavors; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Reanna Santos
  on being named Miss Rodeo Texas 2025 and extend to her sincere best
  wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Santos as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
