R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
  memories of Oscar Rolando Correa of Salado, who passed away on July
  31, 2025, at the age of 68; and
         WHEREAS, Born on July 4, 1957, "Rolly" Correa graduated from
  Central Texas College in 1978 and went on to attend the Texas Parks
  and Wildlife Department Game Warden Training Academy; embarking on
  a decades-long career in law enforcement, he completed his first
  duty assignment as a game warden in San Antonio, earning the rank of
  lieutenant, and he was subsequently promoted to the role of major
  game warden when he transferred to Temple in 1993; while in Temple,
  he was responsible for managing field operations for 24 counties in
  Central Texas; and
         WHEREAS, After retiring from his work with TPWD in 2010,
  Mr. Correa successfully ran for election as a Bell County constable
  in 2013; throughout his nearly 12-year-long tenure, he ably
  fulfilled the duties of his office and earned the respect and
  admiration of his constituents in Precinct 2; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Correa served his community of faith with equal
  commitment; from June 2010 to June 2024, he held the role of mission
  and outreach director at the Salado United Methodist Church, where
  he was beloved by the congregation; in addition to working to meet
  local needs in Salado, he coordinated relief efforts in places
  across the United States that had been impacted by disasters, and he
  led international mission teams to help people in Haiti, Belize,
  and Africa; for many years, he also served on the board of directors
  for J.A.I.L. Ministry, Inc.; and
         WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to his family, Mr. Correa shared a
  rewarding marriage with his wife of more than 45 years, Beth, and he
  cherished their three children, Dustin, Andrea, and Tyler; he was
  further blessed with five grandchildren, who brought him great
  pride and joy; and
         WHEREAS, Admired for his loyalty, generosity, and strength of
  character, Rolly Correa led a caring and purposeful life, and he
  will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who held
  him dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of Oscar Rolando Correa and extend deepest sympathy to the members
  of his family: to his wife, Beth Correa; to his children, Dustin,
  Andrea and her husband, Brady, and Tyler and his wife, Courtney; to
  his mother, Olga Correa; to his sister, Cynthia Merritt; to his
  grandchildren; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Rolly
  Correa.
