Amanda Wallace |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, The family and friends of Amanda Dawn Wallace |
|
|
suffered an immeasurable loss with her death on February 6, 2025, |
|
|
at the age of 46; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Edward and Beatrice Wallace, |
|
|
Amanda Wallace was born in Tyler on February 23, 1978, and she |
|
|
grew up with the companionship of a brother, Jeffrey; she lived |
|
|
in Mineola throughout her early youth, where she further |
|
|
benefited from the kinship of a large extended family that |
|
|
included a number of maternal and paternal cousins, aunts, and |
|
|
uncles; as a teenager, she moved with her family to Amarillo, and |
|
|
she later graduated from Scott Community College in Bettendorf, |
|
|
Iowa, with a degree in dental hygiene; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Wallace shared a rewarding 25-year |
|
|
partnership with her fiancé, Jason Epton; she took great pride in |
|
|
her children, Elijah and Gabriella, and with the passing years |
|
|
she had the pleasure of seeing her treasured family grow to |
|
|
include a grandson, Gianni; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A kind and compassionate woman who never met a |
|
|
stranger, Ms. Wallace found great fulfillment in her many |
|
|
friendships; in her leisure hours, she enjoyed spending time |
|
|
outdoors and cheering on the Green Bay Packers with her fiancé; |
|
|
above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her family, |
|
|
to whom she provided immense love and support; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Amanda |
|
|
Wallace will remember the way she touched theirliveswith her |
|
|
generosity, optimism, and humor, and she will forever hold a |
|
|
treasured place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
|
|
of Amanda Dawn Wallace and extend sincere condolences to the |
|
|
members of her family: to her children, Elijah Wallace and his |
|
|
wife, Cadence, and Gabriella Delcenia Cruz Trevino; to her |
|
|
grandson, Gianni Cruz Placensia; to her fiancé, Jason Epton; to |
|
|
her brother, Jeffrey Wallace; and to her other relatives and |
|
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns |
|
|
this day, it do so in memory of Amanda Wallace. |
