R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The family and friends of Amanda Dawn Wallace
  suffered an immeasurable loss with her death on February 6, 2025, at
  the age of 46; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Edward and Beatrice Wallace, Amanda
  Wallace was born in Tyler on February 23, 1978, and she grew up with
  the companionship of a brother, Jeffrey; she lived in Mineola
  throughout her early youth, where she further benefited from the
  kinship of a large extended family that included a number of
  maternal and paternal cousins, aunts, and uncles; as a teenager,
  she moved with her family to Amarillo, and she later graduated from
  Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa, with a degree in
  dental hygiene; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Wallace shared a rewarding 25-year partnership
  with her fiancé, Jason Epton; she took great pride in her children,
  Elijah and Gabriella, and with the passing years she had the
  pleasure of seeing her treasured family grow to include a grandson,
  Gianni; and
         WHEREAS, A kind and compassionate woman who never met a
  stranger, Ms. Wallace found great fulfillment in her many
  friendships; in her leisure hours, she enjoyed spending time
  outdoors and cheering on the Green Bay Packers with her fiancé;
  above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her family, to
  whom she provided immense love and support; and
         WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Amanda Wallace
  will remember the way she touched their lives with her generosity,
  optimism, and humor, and she will forever hold a treasured place in
  their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 1st
  Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Amanda Dawn
  Wallace and extend sincere condolences to the members of her
  family: to her children, Elijah Wallace and his wife, Cadence, and
  Gabriella Delcenia Cruz Trevino; to her grandson, Gianni Cruz
  Placensia; to her fiancé, Jason Epton; to her brother, Jeffrey
  Wallace; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this
  day, it do so in memory of Amanda Wallace.
