R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A rich and purposeful life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of Arthur Loyd Price of Longview on April 24, 2025, at the |
|
age of 72; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Phillip Price and Annie Belle Price |
|
Green, Arthur Price was born in Andrews on February 10, 1953; he |
|
attended Kilgore College, where he studied drafting and |
|
engineering; he went on to enjoy a long and rewarding career as a |
|
project manager for large retail shopping centers and as a |
|
construction design engineer; he also served as a partner at Jack's |
|
Natural Foods in Longview for a period; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Price benefited from the |
|
love and support of his wife, Kelly, and he took great pride in his |
|
three sons, Ashley, Cody, and Nate; his treasured family eventually |
|
grew to include multiple grandchildren; in his leisure hours, he |
|
enjoyed restoring cars, riding his motorcycle, boating, and scuba |
|
diving; and |
|
WHEREAS, Admired for his strong work ethic, his eagerness to |
|
help others, and his devotion to his loved ones, Arthur Price |
|
brightened the world for all who knew him, and they will forever |
|
hold him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 1st |
|
Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Arthur Loyd Price |
|
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his |
|
wife, Kelly Price; to his sons, Ashley Price, Cody Price, and Nate |
|
Rominger; to his sister, Deanna Price Mikeska; to his |
|
grandchildren; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this |
|
day, it do so in memory of Arthur Price. |
