R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A life filled with joyful times and meaningful
  accomplishments drew to a close with the passing of Dale Eston Hall
  on May 5, 2025, at the age of 61; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Mary and Harlan Hall, Dale Hall was born
  in Odessa on August 15, 1963, and he grew up in Longview with the
  companionship of his sister, Diane; he attended Longview High
  School, where his musical talents were demonstrated as a trombone
  player in the school band; following graduation, he went on to
  attend Austin Community College; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Hall enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a
  computer specialist for the State of Texas, and his efforts were
  recognized with multiple employee of the month awards; and
         WHEREAS, A man of strong faith, Mr. Hall was a valued member
  of First Baptist Church Longview and Hyde Park Church in Austin;
  known for his keen wit, altruistic nature, and infectious smile, he
  delighted in helping others, and he had a great love for animals,
  including his cherished dog, Patches; in his leisure hours, he
  enjoyed cooking and grilling; and
         WHEREAS, Dale Hall possessed a generosity of spirit that
  expressed itself in myriad ways, and he enriched the lives of
  countless people with his warmth and kindness; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 1st
  Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Dale Eston Hall
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  father, Harlan Hall; to his sister, Diane Rice and her husband,
  Mark; to his nephew, Justin Rice; and to his other relatives and
  many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this
  day, it do so in memory of Dale Hall.
