R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |
|
passing of Kyle Richard Bough of Kilgore on June 14, 2025, at the |
|
age of 90; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Clyde Earl Bough and Mabel Bough, Kyle |
|
Bough was born on January 2, 1935, in Stockton, Missouri, where he |
|
grew up with the companionship of three siblings, Lyle, Donald, and |
|
Jean Carol; answering his nation's call to duty, he served with the |
|
U.S. Army for two years; and |
|
WHEREAS, In 1961, Mr. Bough exchanged vows with his wife, |
|
Elaine, and the couple shared a rewarding marriage that spanned |
|
nearly six and a half decades; they were blessed with five children, |
|
Sheila, Richard, Carol, Michelle, and Scott, and through the years, |
|
their cherished family grew to include 15 grandchildren, 18 |
|
great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild; and |
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of his career, Mr. Bough worked as a |
|
charter bus driver and in the trucking industry before joining the |
|
Western Company of North America; in 1978, he and his family settled |
|
in Kilgore; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Kyle Bough is greatly missed, he has left |
|
his loved ones with a wealth of memories that they will forever |
|
treasure; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 1st |
|
Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Kyle Richard Bough |
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
wife, Elaine Bough; to his children, Sheila Smithwick and her |
|
husband, Carl, Richard Bough, Carol Loizeaux and her husband, Tim, |
|
Michelle Renaud and her husband, Joe, and Scott Bough and his wife, |
|
Tosha; to his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and |
|
great-great-grandchild; and to his other relatives and friends; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this |
|
day, it do so in memory of Kyle Bough. |
