R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
  passing of Sally Ann Pruitt of Tyler on February 6, 2025, at the age
  of 71; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Charles and Bettye Cundiff, the
  former Sally Cundiff was born in Minden, Louisiana, on August 18,
  1953, and she grew up with the companionship of two brothers,
  Charles and Kenneth; she attended Friendship Academy, and she
  developed a passion for riding horses and participating in barrel
  races during her youth; she later moved to Tyler, where she worked
  at Red Barn Flower and Gift Shop and CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances
  Health System before ultimately retiring from Target; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Pruitt shared a rewarding marriage with her
  husband, Dale, until his passing in 2023; she took great pride in
  their two children, Celeste and Jonathan, and through the years,
  she had the pleasure of seeing her treasured family grow to include
  three grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, A woman of strong faith, Mrs. Pruitt was a valued
  member of both Trinity Fellowship Church of Tyler and Cornerstone
  Church of the Assemblies of God; she maintained a fondness for
  horses throughout her life, and in her leisure hours, she enjoyed
  working in her barn; above all else, she treasured spending time
  with loved ones; and
         WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to her family, her faith, and her
  community, Sally Pruitt earned the lasting respect and admiration
  of all who were privileged to know her; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 1st
  Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Sally Ann Pruitt
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  children, Celeste Majors and Jonathan Pruitt; to her grandchildren,
  Hannah, Abigail, and Samuel Majors; to her brother, Kenneth
  Cundiff, and his wife, Diana; and to her many other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this
  day, it do so in memory of Sally Pruitt.
