H.C.R. No. 20
 
 
 
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, St. Ann's Catholic School in Midland is celebrating
  its 75th anniversary in 2025; and
         WHEREAS, Founded in 1950, St. Ann's Catholic School serves
  students in prekindergarten through the eighth grade; a faith-based
  coeducational institution, it offers a curriculum that includes
  language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as
  enrichment in such areas as physical education, Spanish, music, and
  art; and
         WHEREAS, Today, St. Ann's benefits from the able guidance of
  principal Tracy Owen, who attended and has taught at the school;
  other St. Ann's graduates have gone on to become doctors, lawyers,
  judges, and politicians, and the school also counts an Olympian
  among its alumni; and
         WHEREAS, For three-quarters of a century, the faculty and
  staff of St. Ann's Catholic School have committed themselves to
  meeting the educational needs of their students, and the school has
  played a vital role in helping many young Texans build a bright and
  fulfilling future; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 89th Legislature of the State of Texas,
  2nd Called Session, hereby commemorate the 75th anniversary of
  St. Ann's Catholic School and extend to all those associated with
  the institution sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives and Senate.
