R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
  the passing of Blair Elizabeth Harber of Dallas, who was tragically
  lost during the July 2025 flooding in Kerr County along with her
  sister, Brooke Harber, and her grandparents, Charlene and Mike
  Harber; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of RJ and Annie Harber, Blair Harber
  was born on December 29, 2011, and she was 13 years old at the time
  of her passing; she shared a strong bond with her younger sister,
  Brooke; and
         WHEREAS, A student at St. Rita Catholic School, Blair was
  enrolled in advanced classes and involved in several activities,
  including the yearbook and speech and drama programs; she was also a
  cheerleader and a member of the volleyball, basketball, and
  lacrosse teams, and as a student ambassador, she guided the
  families of prospective students through the school; and
         WHEREAS, Blair drew strength from her faith, and she took a
  deep interest in her religious studies at St. Rita; she is
  remembered for her kind heart and her passion for serving others;
  and
         WHEREAS, Although it is immeasurably painful to say goodbye
  to someone so young and full of promise, those mourning the loss of
  Blair Harber may find comfort in knowing that their lives have been
  forever enriched by the joyful times they spent in her company; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of Blair Elizabeth Harber and extend sincere condolences to the
  members of her family: to her parents, RJ and Annie Harber; to her
  aunt, Jennifer Harber; to her great-aunt, Lisa Cravotta King; to
  her great-uncles, Jimmy Cravotta and Greg Harber; and to her other
  relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Blair
  Harber.
