R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the profound sense
  of sorrow felt by the family and friends of Eloise Elizabeth Peck of
  Dallas, who was tragically lost in the July 4, 2025, flooding in
  Kerr County; and
         WHEREAS, Affectionately known by her nickname "Lulu," Eloise
  Peck was born on September 18, 2016, and she was eight years old at
  the time of her passing; the daughter of Missy and Tim Peck, she was
  blessed with the companionship of her younger brother, Holden, and
  she benefited from the love and support of an extended family that
  included her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and godparents,
  along with her Boston terrier, Ollie, who was seldom far from her
  side; and
         WHEREAS, Eloise was a student at Bradfield Elementary School,
  and her favorite part of the day was recess, when she often guided
  her classmates in their work at "Lulu's Spa"; outside of school
  hours, she enjoyed playing with Holden, visiting her family's
  Flying R Ranch, and exploring nature on her bicycle; she often
  regaled her father with fanciful stories of her outdoor adventures,
  and she spent many happy hours talking and staging dance parties
  with her mother; she demonstrated her kindness through her efforts
  to make others feel connected and included, and she had a special
  place in her heart for every animal she encountered; and
         WHEREAS, Although her time on this earth was far too brief,
  Eloise Peck was a ray of light in the lives of those who held her
  dear, and they will never forget the joy, laughter, and love that
  she shared with them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of Eloise Elizabeth Peck and extend heartfelt condolences to the
  members of her family: to her parents, Missy and Tim Peck; to her
  brother, Holden Peck; to her grandparents, Beth "Cha Cha" Rogers
  and Rob Rogers and Jean "Nini" Wolitarsky and Jim Wolitarsky; to her
  aunts and uncles, Becca and Chandler Quisenberry, Joan and Michael
  O'Connor, Kim and Jamie Wolitarsky, and Matt Wolitarsky; to her
  cousins, Dottie and James Quisenberry, Ellie and TJ O'Connor, and
  Brooke and William Wolitarsky; to her godparents, Neal Thomas and
  Phillips Nazro; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lulu Peck.
