R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and |
|
meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends |
|
of William Michael Harber of Dallas, who was tragically lost in the |
|
July 2025 flooding in Kerr County along with his wife, Charlene |
|
Cravotta Harber, and his granddaughters, Blair and Brooke Harber; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Durwood and Peggy Harber, Mike Harber was |
|
born in 1948 and grew up with the companionship of a brother, Greg; |
|
he enjoyed a rewarding marriage with Mrs. Harber, and he took great |
|
pride in his children, RJ and Jennifer, and in his two |
|
granddaughters; and |
|
WHEREAS, Renowned for his warmth and wit, Mr. Harber |
|
maintained close friendships with numerous people, including many |
|
of his high school and college classmates; he was also known for his |
|
culinary creations, especially his delicious pies and pralines; and |
|
WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Mike Harber |
|
leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives are far |
|
richer for having known him, and he will always hold a treasured |
|
place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
|
of William Michael Harber and extend heartfelt sympathy to the |
|
members of his family: to his son, RJ Harber, and his wife, Annie; |
|
to his daughter, Jennifer Harber; to his brother, Greg Harber; to |
|
his nieces and nephews; and to his other relatives and many friends; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mike |
|
Harber. |
