R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and
  meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends
  of William Michael Harber of Dallas, who was tragically lost in the
  July 2025 flooding in Kerr County along with his wife, Charlene
  Cravotta Harber, and his granddaughters, Blair and Brooke Harber;
  and
         WHEREAS, The son of Durwood and Peggy Harber, Mike Harber was
  born in 1948 and grew up with the companionship of a brother, Greg;
  he enjoyed a rewarding marriage with Mrs. Harber, and he took great
  pride in his children, RJ and Jennifer, and in his two
  granddaughters; and
         WHEREAS, Renowned for his warmth and wit, Mr. Harber
  maintained close friendships with numerous people, including many
  of his high school and college classmates; he was also known for his
  culinary creations, especially his delicious pies and pralines; and
         WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Mike Harber
  leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives are far
  richer for having known him, and he will always hold a treasured
  place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of William Michael Harber and extend heartfelt sympathy to the
  members of his family: to his son, RJ Harber, and his wife, Annie;
  to his daughter, Jennifer Harber; to his brother, Greg Harber; to
  his nieces and nephews; and to his other relatives and many friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mike
  Harber.
