R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, McKinley Wagley was crowned the 2025 Miss Rodeo |
|
|
North Texas Fair Princess at the 97th annual North Texas Fair & |
|
|
Rodeo in Denton; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, McKinley claimed the title after sweeping the |
|
|
competition by placing first in the horsemanship, appearance, |
|
|
personality, Q&A, and photogenic categories; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Katherine and Jason Wagley, McKinley |
|
|
is a fifth-grade student at Monaco Elementary School in Aubrey, and |
|
|
she first became interested in rodeo in 2020 after attending a |
|
|
summer horse camp; her many interests include roping and |
|
|
competitive dancing, and she hopes to one day compete for the titles |
|
|
of Miss Rodeo Texas Princess and Miss Rodeo America; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, McKinley Wagley is a source of great pride to her |
|
|
family and her community, and she is indeed deserving of |
|
|
recognition for this notable achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate McKinley |
|
|
Wagley on her selection as the 2025 Miss Rodeo North Texas Fair |
|
|
Princess and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Wagley as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
