R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Linda Huebner of the Bartlett Independent School |
|
|
District has been named the 2025 Region V Teacher of the Year and |
|
|
the 2025 State Teacher of the Year by the Family and Consumer |
|
|
Sciences Teachers Association of Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the FCSTAT awards pay tribute to |
|
|
exceptional family and consumer sciences educators; recognized for |
|
|
her achievements in teaching, curriculum development, and student |
|
|
engagement, Mrs. Huebner garnered the regional accolade and went on |
|
|
to earn the State Teacher of the Year honor, the highest teaching |
|
|
award bestowed by the association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Huebner teaches a variety of Bartlett ISD FCS |
|
|
courses, including professional communications, family and |
|
|
community services, and interpersonal studies, as well as |
|
|
college-level child development and guidance studies through |
|
|
Temple College; in addition, she oversees the nationally recognized |
|
|
Bartlett ISD Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America |
|
|
chapter and the three-time state champion LifeSmarts team; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Linda Huebner exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Linda Huebner |
|
|
on her selection as the 2025 Region V Teacher of the Year and the |
|
|
2025 State Teacher of the Year by the Family and Consumer Sciences |
|
|
Teachers Association of Texas and extend to her sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success with her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Huebner as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
