R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Austin Regional Clinic is celebrating its 45th |
|
|
anniversary in 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established in 1980 by family practitioner Norman H. |
|
|
Chenven, M.D., Austin Regional Clinic offers comprehensive health |
|
|
care in Austin and nearby communities; through the years, it has |
|
|
expanded to 35 locations in 15 cities, becoming one of the largest |
|
|
multispecialty group practices in Central Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Today, Austin Regional Clinic employs more than 450 |
|
|
physicians and clinicians who provide care in family medicine, |
|
|
internal medicine, and pediatrics, as well as in such specialty |
|
|
areas as general surgery, orthopedics, and cardiology; as ARC |
|
|
continues to grow, it is slated to open new locations by 2026 to |
|
|
offer improved access to its services; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the past four and a half decades, Austin |
|
|
Regional Clinic has provided compassionate professional care to |
|
|
countless residents of Central Texas, and it is indeed deserving of |
|
|
recognition on the occasion of this significant milestone in its |
|
|
history; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commemorate the 45th |
|
|
anniversary of Austin Regional Clinic and extend to its management |
|
|
and staff sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Austin Regional Clinic as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
