R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Scottie James Curry is celebrating her first |
|
|
birthday on September 26, 2025, to the great delight of her family; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This precious little girl is the beloved daughter of |
|
|
Coleman and Ivy Curry, and she also benefits from the doting |
|
|
guidance of her grandparents, State Representative Pat Curry and |
|
|
Alicia Curry, Gina Curry, and Harold and Anne White; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Scottie's first word was "haha," and she expresses |
|
|
her creativity in a number of ways that include making music with |
|
|
water bottles; moreover, she loves watching college football-- |
|
|
especially Louisiana State University games--as well as golf with |
|
|
her family; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of the past year, Scottie Curry has |
|
|
brought tremendous joy to everyone around her, and it is a pleasure |
|
|
to join her loved ones in celebrating this significant milestone; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby honor Scottie James Curry |
|
|
on her first birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
happiness and success in the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Scottie Curry and her family as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
