SENATE RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of David Riggs Wildman, who died August 11,
  2025, at the age of 70; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Dallas on July 20, 1955, David graduated
  from Highland Park High School in 1973; a gifted athlete, he
  competed in track and field while attending the University of
  Oklahoma and The University of Texas at Austin; and
         WHEREAS, David succeeded in a wide array of professional
  endeavors throughout his life; he served as a travel aide to
  United States Congressman Bob Krueger, managed a quarter horse
  ranch, and worked alongside his father and brother in the
  automobile business; he was active in the real estate industry
  and owned and operated Wildman Art Framing and Pettigrew Luxury
  Furnishings with his beloved wife for many years; and
         WHEREAS, In 1984, David wed Donna Wetzel and embarked on a
  41-year partnership full of devotion and joy; together they
  raised three children, Taylor, Todd, and Leah, and he delighted
  in supporting their athletic pursuits as a coach and enthusiastic
  fan; his five grandchildren also enriched his life immeasurably;
  and
         WHEREAS, David Wildman was a devoted family man, a loyal
  friend, and an esteemed community volunteer who had a gift for
  making those around him feel valued and respected and never
  hesitated to put others before himself; his generosity and
  enthusiasm for life made an indelible mark on the lives of his
  many friends and loved ones that will long endure, and his memory
  will be forever cherished by all who were privileged to share in
  his life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby extend sincere
  condolences to the bereaved family of David Riggs Wildman; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of David Wildman.
