SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 34
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has distinguished himself in his |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch during the summer of 2025 and the 89th |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Spivey has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including helping with legislative research, policy analysis, |
|
|
and stakeholder engagement, and he has significantly contributed |
|
|
to the office's efficiency; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, he has learned more |
|
|
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of |
|
|
the Lone Star State; Mr. Spivey is a student at Baylor |
|
|
University; and |

|
|
WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |

|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Lawson Spivey |
|
|
for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Spivey as an expression of high regard from the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
