SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 34
         WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has distinguished himself in his
  responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State
  Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch during the summer of 2025 and the 89th
  Legislature, 1st Called Session; and
 
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Spivey has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  including helping with legislative research, policy analysis,
  and stakeholder engagement, and he has significantly contributed
  to the office's efficiency; in addition to gaining valuable
  experience in the field of public service, he has learned more
  about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of
  the Lone Star State; Mr. Spivey is a student at Baylor
  University; and
 
         WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has performed his duties as a
  legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Lawson Spivey
  for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State
  Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch and extend to him sincere best wishes
  for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Spivey as an expression of high regard from the
  Texas Senate.
