R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has distinguished himself in his |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch during the summer of 2025 and the 89th |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Spivey has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including helping with legislative research, policy analysis, and |
|
|
stakeholder engagement, and he has significantly contributed to the |
|
|
office's efficiency; in addition to gaining valuable experience in |
|
|
the field of public service, he has learned more about the |
|
|
legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star |
|
|
State; Mr. Spivey is a student at Baylor University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Lawson Spivey has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 2nd |
|
|
Called Session, hereby commend Lawson Spivey for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent A. |
|
|
Hagenbuch and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Spivey as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
Senate. |
