SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 35

WHEREAS, Annie Meyers has distinguished herself in her responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch during the 1st Called Session of the 89th Texas Legislature; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Meyers has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, which have included assisting with the office's communication and social media efforts, and throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated great adaptability and collaborated effectively with senate staff; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, Annie Meyers has performed her duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Annie Meyers for her service as a legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent A. Hagenbuch and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for Ms. Meyers as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
