SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 37

WHEREAS, Avery Kurzontkowski has distinguished herself in her responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent Hagenbuch in 2025; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Kurzontkowski has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, including legislative research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, A third-year student at The University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Kurzontkowski is pursuing a bachelor's degree in government in the Plan II Honors Program; she participates in the Air Force ROTC program and has completed several public service internships; and

WHEREAS, Avery Kurzontkowski has performed her duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Avery Kurzontkowski for her service as a legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent Hagenbuch and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for Ms. Kurzontkowski as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
