R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Avery Kurzontkowski has distinguished herself in |
|
|
her responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Senator Brent Hagenbuch in 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Kurzontkowski has |
|
|
provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |
|
|
tasks, including legislative research, policy analysis, and |
|
|
stakeholder engagement; in addition to gaining valuable experience |
|
|
in the field of public service, she has learned more about the |
|
|
legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star |
|
|
State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A third-year student at The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin, Ms. Kurzontkowski is pursuing a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
government in the Plan II Honors Program; she participates in the |
|
|
Air Force ROTC program and has completed several public service |
|
|
internships; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Avery Kurzontkowski has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 2nd |
|
|
Called Session, hereby commend Avery Kurzontkowski for her service |
|
|
as a legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent |
|
|
Hagenbuch and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Kurzontkowski as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas Senate. |
