SENATE RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Lieutenant Albert Stout Jr., who died
  August 6, 2025, at the age of 57; and
         WHEREAS, Born on July 2, 1968, in Corpus Christi, Albert
  Stout was a cherished citizen who shaped a meaningful life of
  service to his community; he joined the Robstown Police
  Department with a heart focused on protecting his fellow
  citizens, and he held his post with unwavering conviction and
  integrity for 31 years; and
         WHEREAS, Committed to his role as a protector and peace
  officer, Albert faced the challenges of his profession with calm
  resolve, and he was admired by his colleagues and community
  members for his resolve and his compassionate nature; he was
  always ready and willing to take on extra responsibilities and to
  assist at community and school events, and he proudly mentored
  fellow officers in his department and as a member of the Police
  Officer's Association and the Combined Law Enforcement
  Association of Texas; and
         WHEREAS, Albert was a devoted family man who shared a
  loving and joyful union of 19 years with his cherished wife,
  Sonia Morales Stout, and his life was enriched immeasurably by
  his three children, Albert Stout III, Alyssa Stout, and Bianca
  Velasquez, and by his nine grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Lieutenant Stout exemplified the most honorable
  ideals of law enforcement in the line of duty and in his daily
  life, and he inspired countless others through his kind and
  selfless example; he was beloved by many, and he will long be
  remembered with admiration and appreciation by his family and his
  fellow officers and by all who were privileged to share in his
  life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby extend sincere
  condolences to the bereaved family of Albert Stout Jr.; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Albert Stout.
