R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Metrocare is celebrating the opening of its new
  Hillside Campus in Oak Cliff with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on
  September 25, 2025; and
         WHEREAS, Established in 1967 as Dallas County MHMR, Metrocare
  is the largest provider of mental health, developmental disability,
  and permanent supported housing services in Dallas County,
  assisting more than 50,000 children, teens, and adults each year
  regardless of their ability to pay; Metrocare offers a wide range of
  services, from mental health and primary care to accessible
  pharmacies, homeless outreach, and specialized services for
  veterans and their families, and it also provides numerous programs
  for babies, children, and adults with disabilities, such as Early
  Childhood Intervention and Supported Employment; and
         WHEREAS, With the new Mental Health and Disability Innovation
  Center at Hillside Campus, Metrocare is expanding its capacity to
  serve the community in order to meet the growing need for
  accessible, quality mental health care; the campus will encompass a
  45,000-square-foot Mental Health Clinic that will offer
  integrated, evidence-based care to patients, as well as a
  98,000-square-foot Client Services Building that will consolidate
  Metrocare's countywide operations, including training and
  research; in addition, the campus will feature bright, open spaces
  for clinical services, outdoor therapy areas for children, a
  tranquility garden, and an outdoor terrace; and
         WHEREAS, Over the years, Metrocare has earned a reputation as
  a leading mental health care provider in North Texas, and the new
  Hillside Campus is certain to be an invaluable resource to the
  community; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature, 2nd
  Called Session, hereby commemorate the grand opening of Metrocare's
  Hillside Campus and extend sincere appreciation to all those
  involved in bringing this project to fruition; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Metrocare as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  Senate.
