Amend CSHB 500 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  Strike page 3, line 24, through page 5, line 3, and renumber the SECTIONS of the article accordingly.

(2)  Add the following appropriately numbered SECTION to Article 1 of the bill:

SECTION 1.____.  TRUSTEED PROGRAMS WITHIN THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR: BORDER OPERATIONS. The amount of $150,000,000 is appropriated from the general revenue fund to the Trusteed Programs within the Office of the Governor for the two-year period beginning on the effective date of this Act for border operations.
