Amend CSHB 2249 (house committee report) on page 2, lines 19-21, by striking "maintain satisfactory academic progress as determined by the institution at which the student is enrolled" and substituting ", as determined by the institution at which the student is enrolled, maintain satisfactory academic progress and refrain from participating in an antisemitic protest while enrolled at any public or private institution of higher education in this state. For purposes of this subsection, an antisemitic protest is any protest that promotes hostility or violence against Jewish persons".
