Amend HB 2308 (house committee report) on page 2 by striking lines 8 through 13 and substituting the following:
(6) three members of the house of representatives appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives, as follows:
(A) not more that two members from the same political party; and
(B) at least one member who represents a legislative district containing territory bordering this state's international border with Mexico; and
(7) three members of the senate appointed by the lieutenant governor, as follows:
(A) not more than two members from the same political party; and
(B) at least one member who represents a legislative district containing territory bordering this state's international border with Mexico.
