Amend HB 2542 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  Strike page 1, line 22, through page 2, line 8, and substitute the following:

(A)  the Department of Family and Protective Services;

(B)  the Texas Department of Criminal Justice; and

(C)  the Commission on Jail Standards; and

(2)  Strike page 2, lines 21 and 22, and substitute the following:

(F)  Medicaid long-term services and supports providers, including:

(i)  a provider under the home and community-based services (HCS) waiver program; and

(ii)  an intermediate care facility provider licensed under Chapter 252, Health and Safety Code;

(3)  Strike page 3, lines 16 through 22, and substitute the following:

(ii)  community services;

(iii)  health and specialty care;

(iv)  behavioral health services;

(v)  access and eligibility services; and

(vi)  family health services;

(4)  On page 4, line 23, between "condition" and the semicolon, insert ", including inpatient psychiatric care".

(5)  On page 5, line 23, strike "2025" and substitute "2026".
