Amend CSHB 2637 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  On page 4, lines 2 and 3, strike "be exempted [excused]" and substitute "claim an exemption [be excused]".

(2)  On page 4, line 22, strike "or the clerk of a district court in the county".

(3)  On page 5, strike lines 3 through 8, and reletter subsequent subsections of proposed Article 19A.106, Code of Criminal Procedure, accordingly.

(4)  On page 5, line 16, strike "or the clerk of a district court in the county".

(5)  On page 10, strike lines 4 through 6 and substitute the following:

SECTION 11.  Sections 62.108(a), (b), (c), and (e), Government Code, are amended to read as follows:
