Amend CSHB 4486 (house committee report) page 12 of the bill, by inserting the following section after line 25 and renumbering subsequent sections accordingly:

Section 8.  Notwithstanding Section 9 of this Act, $63,750.00 is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund No. 0001 for payment of an itemized claim or judgment against the State of Texas to pay Warren Kenneth Paxton Jr. for salary he did not receive during the period of impeachment.
