Amend CSSB 1 (house committee report) in Article III of the bill, following the appropriations to The University of Texas at Austin (page III-89), by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:

____.  Seismic-Resistant Infrastructure Study. Out of money appropriated above for Strategy C.2.3, Bureau of Economic Geology, the department shall conduct a study on Seismic-Resistant Infrastructure, and report its findings to the legislature no later than December 31, 2026.
