Amend CSSB 1 (house committee report), in Article VI of the bill, following the appropriations to the Commission on Environmental Quality (page VI-18), by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:
____.  Air Quality Monitoring in Fort Bend County. From money appropriated above to the Commission on Environmental Quality in Strategy A.1.1, Air Quality Assessment and Planning, the amount of $100,000 in general revenue is allocated for each state fiscal year of the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2027, for the establishment and maintenance of a regulatory air monitor in Fort Bend County to:
(1)  monitor ozone, fine particulate matter (PM 2.5), and sulfur dioxide; and
(2)  be included in the commission's annual monitoring network plan.
