Amend SB 24 (house committee report) as follows:

(1) Add "and fascist" immediately following "communist" in each of the following places in which it appears:

(1) page 1, line 12;

(2) page 1, line 15;

(3) page 1, line 18;

(4) page 2, line 8;

(5) page 2, line 19;

(6) page 2, line 21;

(7) page 2, line 27;

(8) page 3, line 6; and

(9) page 3, line 19.

(2) On page 2, line 6, strike "and".

(3) On page 2, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following:

(H) the rise of fascist regimes in Europe;

(I) the genocide of Jewish, Romani, and LGBTQ+ people and of political opponents, persons with disabilities, and minority ethnic groups, known as the Holocaust;

(J) the German political purge known as the Night of the Long Knives;

(K) the Nanjing Massacre; and

(L) the origins and polices of the National Fascist Party of Italy;

(4) On page 2, line 12, between "communism" and "and", insert ", fascism,".

(5) On page 2, between lines 25 and 26, insert the following appropriately numbered subdivision and reletter subsequent subdivisions of the subsection accordingly:

(____) the evolution of fascist ideologies from economic, ultranationalist theories into broader cultural movements that divide societies based on class and ethnicity;

(6) On page 3, line 13, between "communism" and "willing", insert "and fascism".

(7) On page 3, line 16, between "communism" and the underlined semicolon, insert "and fascism".
