Amend SB 1163 (senate committee printing) as follows:

(1)  Strike the recital to SECTION 1 of the bill (page 1, lines 20-21) and substitute the following:

SECTION 1.  Section 41.45, Tax Code, is amended by amending Subsections (e) and (e-1) and adding Subsection (e-3) to read as follows:

(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, following amended Section 41.45(e-1), Tax Code (page 1, between lines 60 and 61), add the following:

(e-3)  For purposes of Subsections (e) and (e-1), a property owner's agent does not include a person who is a property tax consultant as defined by Section 1152.001, Occupations Code.
