Amend SB 2570 (house committee printing) on page 1, by striking lines 22 and 23 and substituting the following:
duties as a guard or officer if:
(1) the person's use of the weapon was in substantial compliance with the person's training; and
(2) before using force, the person states the person's purpose in using force and discloses the person's identity as a guard or officer, unless the person reasonably believes the person's purpose and identity are already known by or are not reasonably able to be made known to the other person.
