A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the requirement that the operator of an all-terrain |
|
|
vehicle possess evidence of financial responsibility for the |
|
|
vehicle. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 601.052, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) Notwithstanding Subsection (a)(2-b), Section 601.051 |
|
|
applies to an all-terrain vehicle, as that term is defined by |
|
|
Section 551A.001. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
