A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to incentives for the moving image industry in this state. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 485.022, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (g) to read as follows: |
|
|
(g) The office may require a production company applying for |
|
|
a grant under this subchapter to certify that, with respect to the |
|
|
moving image project that is the subject of the application, the |
|
|
production company will conform with guidelines adopted by the |
|
|
office relating to the safe use of firearms in moving image |
|
|
productions. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
