| relating to a limit on the assessment of certain fees for the | ||
| qualification for sale or registration of securities. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 4006.055, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | ||
| (c) Notwithstanding Subsection (a), a fee under this | ||
| section may not exceed $250. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
