A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the maximum number of media production development |
|
|
zones in this state and of qualified media production locations in |
|
|
those zones. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Sections 485A.103(a), (b), and (c), Government |
|
|
Code, are amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(a) There may not be more than 15 [10] media production |
|
|
development zone designations under this chapter at any one time. |
|
|
(b) There may not be more than 10 [five] media production |
|
|
development zones under this chapter in a region at any one time. |
|
|
(c) Each media production development zone may not contain |
|
|
more than eight qualified [three] media production locations at any |
|
|
one time. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
