A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to requiring the provision of certain information to the |
|
|
Texas Education Agency by a public or private school. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 7.021, Education Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) On request by the agency, a school district, |
|
|
open-enrollment charter school, or private school shall provide to |
|
|
the agency any information necessary for the agency to implement or |
|
|
administer a state or federal program. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
