| relating to the admissibility of hearsay evidence in a hearing for a | ||
| person charged with a violation of a condition of release from the | ||
| Texas Department of Criminal Justice. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 508.281, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (g) to read as follows: | ||
| (g) Hearsay evidence is not admissible in a hearing | ||
| conducted under this section. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
