A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the construction of bridges in Harris County. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. For the purpose of reducing traffic congestion |
|
|
on public roads, the Texas Department of Transportation shall: |
|
|
(1) develop a plan, conduct an environmental review, |
|
|
and propose a design for: |
|
|
(A) a bridge in Harris County crossing the |
|
|
railroad tracks at the intersection of Little York Road and Hirsch |
|
|
Road to provide rail-roadway grade separation; and |
|
|
(B) a bridge in Harris County crossing the |
|
|
railroad tracks at the intersection of Tidwell Road and Hirsch Road |
|
|
to provide rail-roadway grade separation; and |
|
|
(2) construct the bridges described by Subdivision |
|
|
(1). |

SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
