A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to a study by the Texas Water Development Board of factors |
|
|
that affect the costs of developing drainage infrastructure in this |
|
|
state. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Not later than January 1, 2027, the Texas Water |
|
|
Development Board shall: |
|
|
(1) identify and study factors that affect the costs |
|
|
of developing drainage infrastructure in this state; and |
|
|
(2) prepare and submit to the legislature a written |
|
|
report on the relative costs of developing drainage infrastructure |
|
|
in different areas of this state based on the factors identified and |
|
|
studied under Subdivision (1). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act expires September 1, 2027. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
