A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the compensation of directors of the Aliana Management |
|
|
District. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 3865.054(a), Special District Local Laws |
|
|
Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(a) The district may compensate each director as provided by |
|
|
Section 49.060, Water Code [in an amount not to exceed $150 for each |
|
|
board meeting. The total amount of compensation for each director |
|
|
in one year may not exceed $7,200]. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
