A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the procedure for the adoption by the board of regents |
|
|
of The University of Texas System of a rate and damage schedule for |
|
|
the management of university land. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 66.46, Education Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (n) to read as follows: |
|
|
(n) The board of regents is considered to be a state agency |
|
|
and a rate and damage schedule adopted by the board of regents is |
|
|
considered to be a rule for purposes of Chapters 2001 and 2002, |
|
|
Government Code. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
