A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|

|
relating to the alignment of report due dates under the Health and |
|
|
Safety Code. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 1.006, Health and Safety Code, is |
|
|
created to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 1.006. REPORTS. Notwithstanding any other law, all |
|
|
reports that are required to be submitted under this code to the |
|
|
governor or any member of the legislature shall be submitted not |
|
|
later than December 1 of the year they are due. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
