A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the overnight parking of a commercial motor vehicle in |
|
|
or near certain residential subdivisions. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 545.307(a)(2), Transportation Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(2) "Residential subdivision" means a subdivision: |
|
|
(A) located in a county with a population: |
|
|
(i) greater than 220,000; or |
|
|
(ii) less than 75,000 that is adjacent to |
|
|
three counties with populations of more than 450,000; |
|
|
(B) [: (A)] for which a plat is recorded in the |
|
|
county real property records; and |
|
|
(C) [(B)] in which the majority of lots are |
|
|
subject to deed restrictions limiting the lots to residential use. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
