R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, July 17, 2024, signaled the beginning of a new
  chapter in the lives of Gregory Cline and Chloe Beck of Austin, for
  on that day, they exchanged the vows of matrimony in Clusane, Italy;
  and
         WHEREAS, Both employees of the State of Texas, Gregory Cline
  is the son of Jim and Nancy Cline of Carrollton, and Chloe Beck is
  the daughter of Terry and Shelly Beck of Boerne; the couple met as
  interns at the State Capitol through Texas A&M University
  internship programs; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Cline holds a degree in political science from
  Texas A&M; he previously worked for State Senator Don Huffines
  during the 85th Legislative Session and State Representative James
  Frank during the 86th and 87th Sessions; since the 88th
  Legislature, he has served as chief of staff for State
  Representative Ben Bumgarner; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas A&M as well, Ms. Beck holds a
  degree in wildlife and fisheries sciences; she served in the office
  of State Representative Larry Gonzales during the 85th Legislative
  Session, on the Senate State Affairs Committee during the 86th
  Session, and in the office of State Senator Kelly Hancock during the
  87th and 88th Sessions; she currently works for the State Office of
  Administrative Hearings; and
         WHEREAS, The wedding of Gregory Cline and Chloe Beck marks a
  profound deepening of a relationship that has grown in love,
  respect, and mutual regard with each passing day, and it is truly a
  pleasure to join in honoring this fortunate couple; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Gregory Cline and Chloe Beck on
  their wedding and extend to them sincere best wishes for a lifetime
  of happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
