R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Cardiovascular disease disproportionately affects
  communities of color, leading to higher rates of morbidity and
  mortality; and
         WHEREAS, The nonprofit organization the Black Heart
  Association has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving
  health outcomes in minority populations through education,
  advocacy, and empowerment efforts; and
         WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Black Heart Association has
  fostered partnerships, implemented educational programs, and
  worked to advance equitable health policies to address the social
  determinants that contribute to health disparities; through these
  endeavors, the group has raised awareness of cardiovascular disease
  in vulnerable communities and empowered individuals to take charge
  of their health; and
         WHEREAS, The Black Heart Association has been instrumental in
  promoting healthier lifestyles, closing gaps in access to care, and
  inspiring community-driven change, and the organization is to be
  commended for its contributions to a truly important cause; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the Black Heart Association for its work
  to eliminate heart health disparities among communities of color
  and extend to all those associated with the organization sincere
  best wishes for continued success in their efforts to create a
  healthier, more equitable future for all; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the association as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
