R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association |
|
|
Women's Caucus are visiting the State Capitol on February 12, 2025; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established in 2014 to address the needs of women |
|
|
within the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and encourage greater |
|
|
involvement in the organization's activities, the TTLA Women's |
|
|
Caucus provides a dedicated space for women trial lawyers to access |
|
|
professional resources, build connections, and support one another |
|
|
in their careers; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Women's Caucus hosts a number of webinars and |
|
|
events throughout the year, and it encourages women to take on |
|
|
leadership roles within the legal profession and in their |
|
|
communities by providing opportunities for networking and |
|
|
leadership development; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since its inception, the TTLA Women's Caucus has |
|
|
supported countless women in their professional endeavors, and its |
|
|
members are indeed deserving of special recognition for their |
|
|
dedicated efforts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize February 12, 2025, as Texas Trial |
|
|
Lawyers Association Women's Caucus Lobby Day at the State Capitol |
|
|
and extend a warm welcome to the visiting delegation. |
